ADAPT (A Doberman Adloption Placement Team)
ADAPT's focus is the humane rescue and safe re-homing of abused, abandoned or otherwise in need Dobermans. As a group dedicated to humane re-homing and rescue of Dobermans, all dogs are temperament checked, current on shots, spayed or neutered and currently on HW prevention.
All Border Collie Rescue
All Border Collie Rescue is a not for profit volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the rescue of Border Collies. This passionate group of Border Collie lovers have had the good fortune of meeting and befriending each other through past rescue work. Some of our volunteers are new to working with border collies, while some possess over a decade of experience with Border Collies.
Big Dogs Huge Paws
Big Dogs Huge Paws was founded on the core philosophy is that every "BIG" dog deserves a chance. Our goal is to make sure that every dog receives only the best of care, food, and training. We will also ensure that they are properly evaluated (medically and behaviorally) and placed according to their special needs. Our medical officer and veterinarian team will provide first aid training to all foster volunteers and health seminars about the latest developments in animal medicine.
Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Texas
We are classified as a 501(c)(3) organization. That means that your donations may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. You can feel confident 100% of your donation goes to helping these homeless dogs. REST ASSURED any donation large or small, goes directly to our "cockerkids" to pay for the ever increasing vet bills and to rehabilitate these discarded CockerKids. Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward project
We are a committed and compassionate circle of volunteers helping to care for abandoned and neglected dogs in an impoverished area of Houston called the Fifth Ward. Our project is 100% funded by donations and volunteer effort. We rely totally on the generosity of those who share our compassion and care for the welfare of the neglected and abandoned animals, and without them, we would not be able to help a single one.

Friends of BARC was founded in 2003 by a group of animal lovers looking to support the humane care and treatment of the animals residing at BARC—the City of Houston Animal Shelter—and to help them find a chance for a better life.
Golden Retriever Acres Senior Sanctuary
GRASS serves primarily as a refuge for older and special needs Golden Retrievers. These are dogs that generally have a lot of life left in them and need a safe, secure and loving place to live during their golden years. The Sanctuary is a home-style environment. Although the Sanctuary will provide a life-long home for many seniors, we will also have adoptions to approved applicants.
Good Life Bully Rescue
We are a non-profit foster based rescue organization located in Houston, Texas. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing bully breed type dogs.
Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas
We rescue abandoned, sick, injured, and abused Great Danes from various Houston area shelters and owner surrenders. We place all of our Gentle Giants into foster homes where the Gentle Giants begin their rehabilitation.
Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue organization specializing in the rescue of Cocker Spaniels. We are not a shelter. Our rescue process involves finding loving foster homes for all the dogs in our program until their forever home can be found.

Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue
Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue was formed by two cocker spaniel lovers who have over 25 years combined experience in "rescuing" Cocker Spaniels. With so many homeless cocker spaniels in the Greater Houston area, Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue focuses primarily on rescuing dogs in North Harris County and Montgomery County where there is a dire need. We hope that we can make a difference, especially in those areas.
Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston
Within the organization's scope and reach, MSRH is dedicated to rescuing every abandoned or lost Miniature Schnauzer that we can and migrating them to a loving forever home. In the interim period, between rescue and adoption, our all-volunteer team provides temporary homes, in a safe and loving environment, while we search for an adoptive home that is the right match for each Schnauzer.

Poodle Rescue of Houston is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization chartered by the state of Texas. PRH rescues distressed dogs, mostly poodles, from a variety of sources, including public animal shelters and humane organizations across a seven state region, as well as from individuals or breeders who, for various reasons, "surrender" their dogs to our care.
PugHearts - Houston Pug Rescue
PugHearts of Houston Pug Rescue is a true 501(c)(3) non-profit charity founded in the Houston area by dedicated pug owners and lovers. Our mission is the rescue, rehabilitation and permanent placement of needy pugs into loving homes.
Tiny Paws Rescue
Tiny Paws and Chi Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization with foster homes in the Houston and Spring, Texas area as well as Connecticut and is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abused, abandoned and neglected small breed dogs. As in most rescue groups, our dogs are cared for in healthy, safe, loving foster home environments.
Westie & Scottie Rescue Houston
